On Saturday the 19th, Club Groeneveld had the great pleasure to host an online event with Satish Kumar, a former monk and long-term peace and environment activist and founder of Schumacher College, the internationally renowned learning community offering ecology-centred masters, short course and horticulture programs.
In this lecture Satish Kumar shared his thoughts on ecology, spirituality and social harmony as well as interconnectedness in the context of the Covid 19 crisis. We discussed how we may learn to speak a different language, a language of love, and how to come from a speech act to a physical act in order to create new, better and more sustainable ways of living together in an uncertain future.
